The traditional pole marquee is built on a timber frame with canvas roof panels supported by internal poles, giving the peaked roofline most people picture when they think of a wedding marquee. It suits gardens, orchards and country venues where a classic look matters as much as the coverage itself.
Because the poles sit inside the structure, the layout needs a little more planning around tables and dance floors, something our team works through with you during the site survey. The canvas roof also gives a softer, warmer light inside than a clear span structure.
Traditional pole marquees work well for guest numbers from around sixty up to a hundred and fifty and can be lined and dressed to suit anything from a relaxed garden party to a formal wedding breakfast.
