Walking football
A slower paced, no contact version of football aimed at older or returning players.
Walking football strips out running and physical contact, making it a good option for older players, people returning to sport after injury or anyone who wants the social side of football without the pace of the full game.
Sessions run weekly and are deliberately relaxed, mixing structured drills with small sided games. Many players come along more for the company and the exercise than for serious competition and the group has a strong social side beyond the session itself.
New players can simply turn up to a session and join in and boots are not required as the sessions are usually played in trainers on a flat, forgiving surface.
