Answers to the questions we are asked most often before a wedding booking is confirmed.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates across the summer months get booked up quickly, so we recommend booking as soon as your venue is confirmed. Many couples get in touch a year or more ahead, though we can sometimes help with shorter notice.
Do you travel outside South Devon?
Yes, we regularly photograph weddings further afield across the South West and beyond. Travel costs are simply added to your quote depending on distance.
How many photographs will we receive?
A full day wedding usually results in several hundred edited images, while a smaller elopement or half day booking will have fewer. Every gallery is edited individually rather than delivered as a fixed number.
How long until we see our photographs?
You will receive a small sneak preview within 48 hours of your wedding, with the full edited gallery following within a few weeks.
Do you provide a second photographer?
A second photographer is included as standard on every full day booking, so both sides of the room are covered during the ceremony and speeches. It can also be added to smaller packages if you would like extra coverage.
Can we choose the images that go into our album?
Yes, album design is a guided process. We put together a suggested layout from your gallery and then work with you to adjust it until you are happy with the final selection.
What happens if it rains on the day?
We plan alternative locations and timings with you in advance so a wet forecast does not derail the photographs. Some of our favourite images have come from days where the weather did something unexpected.
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes, an engagement shoot is a good way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding itself and the images are useful for save the date cards too.
