About Example Landscaping & Garden Design
Example Landscaping & Garden Design has been designing and building gardens across South Devon since 2009. We are a small team of designers and gardeners who care about how a garden works, not just how it photographs.
We started out doing planting and small patio projects around Totnes and have grown into a full design and build service, taking on everything from a courtyard refresh to a complete rural garden. The team has stayed small and hands on by choice.
Our work covers garden design, patios and pathways, planting and soft landscaping and ongoing maintenance, for homeowners across Totnes, Dartmouth, Brixham, Kingsbridge and the wider South Devon area. We understand the particular challenges of coastal wind, sloping sites and heavy clay soil that come up again and again in this part of the country.
Many of our clients come to us for a design and build project and then stay on for regular maintenance afterwards, which suits us well. We would rather build a long relationship with a garden than move on the moment the planting goes in.
