Planting is where a garden either settles in and thrives or struggles from the start, so we choose species based on the actual conditions of your garden rather than what looks good in a catalogue. Soil type, aspect and exposure to coastal wind all shape our recommendations.
We prepare borders properly before planting, improving the soil where needed and setting out plants with enough space to grow into rather than looking crowded within a year or two. Lawns are laid or seeded depending on the site and how the space will be used.
For gardens that need to look established quickly, we can plan a mix of mature and younger planting so there is impact from day one, with the rest filling in over the following seasons. We are happy to advise on ongoing care too.
