Do I need to use my insurer's approved garage?
You are entitled to choose your own repairer after an accident, even if your insurer suggests one of their own. We work with a number of insurers directly and can usually make the process just as straightforward.
How long will my repair take?
Timescales depend on the extent of the damage and whether parts need to be ordered, so we will give you an estimate once the car has been assessed. We keep you updated throughout, particularly if a repair is likely to take longer than first thought.
Will the repaired paintwork match the rest of my car?
Yes, we use a computerised colour matching system to identify the exact shade and finish of your vehicle before any respray work begins. Every repair is checked under strong lighting and compared against the rest of the car before it leaves the workshop.
Can you repair my car if I am paying privately rather than through insurance?
Yes, we are happy to provide a clear written quote and explain the work involved for customers paying for their own repair. The process follows the same careful standard of work whether a job is paid for privately or through an insurer.
What is paintless dent removal and is my car suitable?
Paintless dent removal reshapes a panel from behind without needing to repaint it and works well for dents where the paint has not cracked or split. Our technicians assess each dent individually and will tell you honestly if a different repair method is needed.
Do I get a courtesy car while mine is being repaired?
Courtesy car availability depends on your insurer and the length of the repair, so it is worth asking when your claim is first set up. Let us know if this is important to you and we will do what we can to help arrange one.
What happens to the parts you replace?
Replaced parts are kept until your car has been collected, in case you or your insurer wish to see them. After that they are disposed of responsibly in line with our usual workshop procedures.
Is a repaired car as safe as it was before the accident?
Every repair is carried out to manufacturer approved standards and checked using measuring equipment before the car is signed off, so it meets the same safety standard as before the accident. We will not release a car until it passes our final inspection.
