The couple's three children came to us wanting to plan a surprise party for their parents' fiftieth wedding anniversary, without either parent finding out in advance. We worked directly with the children to book a venue, caterer and band while keeping the invitation entirely separate from the couple.
The cover story was a quiet family dinner, so the room, the catering and the guest arrivals all had to be managed without raising any suspicion beforehand. The look on both their faces when the doors opened made every bit of the secrecy worth it.
Around sixty guests from across the family's life turned up, some travelling a considerable distance to be there for the surprise.
