Puppy introduction visits
Short, positive first visits that build confidence before a puppy's first full groom.
Puppies who have a bad first experience at the groomers often carry that nervousness for years. Our introduction visits are short and gentle, designed purely to get a puppy comfortable with the sounds, smells and handling of a salon.
We keep sessions to around fifteen minutes and focus on one or two things at a time, such as standing on the table or hearing the dryer from a distance. Treats and praise do the rest.
Most puppies need two or three introduction visits before their first proper groom. Owners are welcome to stay in the room for these early sessions, which tends to help both ends of the lead settle.
