Each autumn a group of staff, volunteers and supporters take on a sponsored walk along the edge of Dartmoor to raise money ahead of the winter months, when demand for our services tends to increase.
This year's walk brought together people from across our different programmes, from befriending volunteers to families who have used our support groups, all walking together for the same cause. Local businesses donated refreshments and prizes for a raffle held afterwards.
Money raised goes directly towards winter essentials such as warm clothing, heating vouchers and extra food parcel stock, helping us respond quickly when the coldest weeks put the most pressure on local households.
