Clinical Pilates
Small, closely supervised Pilates classes led by an instructor with a clinical background.
Clinical Pilates classes are led by an instructor with a background in physiotherapy, making these sessions particularly popular with students managing back pain, recovering from injury or simply wanting closely supervised core work. Class sizes are kept small so the instructor can watch every student's form.
Sessions focus on controlled movement, proper alignment and building strength around the core and spine rather than a fast paced workout. Many students are referred to us by physiotherapists as a way of continuing rehabilitation work once formal treatment has finished.
New students are asked to complete a short health questionnaire before their first class so the instructor understands any injuries or conditions in advance. This allows the instructor to adjust exercises for individual students within the group setting.
