Our camping pods are simple wooden shelters with a raised mattress platform and electric lighting, aimed at guests who want a bit more shelter than a tent without the full facilities of a shepherd's hut. There is no kitchenette or shower inside, so guests use the main toilet and shower block a short walk away.
Each pod is compact but weatherproof, with enough headroom to sit up comfortably and a small window to let in daylight. They suit a couple or two friends travelling light rather than a family.
Because they are unheated beyond a simple electric heater, the pods work best from spring through early autumn. We provide the mattress and basic bedding, though guests are welcome to bring their own sleeping bag if they prefer.
