Grass pitches
Simple, well drained pitches for tents, with electric hook up available on request.
Our main field holds pitches for tents of most sizes, spaced generously so no one is pitched right on top of their neighbours. The ground is well drained and mown regularly through the season, with a flat area set aside for family tents with awnings.
A number of pitches have electric hook up, useful for anyone running a fridge or charging equipment overnight. We ask campers travelling without a vehicle to let us know in advance so we can allocate a pitch close to the toilet and shower block.
Fires are only permitted in raised fire pits, which we can hire out at reception and quiet hours run from ten thirty in the evening. Most of our regular guests tell us it is this quieter approach that keeps them coming back each summer.
