Our standard grass pitches sit in the main field, spaced out so no one is set up right on top of their neighbours. The ground is well drained and mown through the season, with flatter spots kept for larger family tents and awnings.
Each pitch is unmarked rather than boxed in, so you can angle a tent to make the most of the morning sun or a bit of shade in the afternoon. Water taps and the toilet and shower block are a short walk away from every part of the field.
This is our most flexible pitch type and suits everything from a couple with a small backpacking tent to a family bringing a large tent and a car. Electric hook up can be added for an additional charge where a pitch is close enough to a connection point.
