At the end of every season the club holds a presentation day for all of its junior sections, with matches, games and stalls running throughout the afternoon before a short award ceremony in the clubhouse.
Coaches make a point of giving every child some form of recognition, whether for effort, improvement or teamwork, rather than focusing only on goals scored or matches won. Parents help run a barbecue and cake stall to raise funds for new junior kit.
The day has become one of the best attended events on the club calendar and several families who came along as spectators before their children joined the club say it was what convinced them to sign up.
