Sunday lunch
Roast dinners served every Sunday, made with meat from local farms and all the trimmings.
Sunday lunch is our busiest service of the week and we take table bookings from midday right through to half past three. There's usually a choice of two roasts alongside a vegetarian option, plus a full plate of vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with every order.
The meat comes from a butcher in Chudleigh who sources from farms within a few miles of the pub and we change the choice of roasts slightly depending on what's available that week. Portions are generous and we're happy to serve smaller plates for children at a reduced price.
Booking ahead is strongly recommended, particularly for the twelve thirty and one o'clock sittings, which tend to fill first. Walk ins are welcome if we have space, though we can't always guarantee a table without a booking.
