Every dog has its own indoor and outdoor run rather than shared kennels and our cattery sits well away from the kennel block so cats are never within earshot of barking. We are licensed by the local authority and inspected annually.

The kennels started as a small operation with six runs and grew gradually as demand from local vets and word of mouth increased. Growth has always followed the same principle: no expansion until we are confident we can maintain the same standard of care for every animal already in our books.
We are licensed by the local authority under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018 and inspected annually, with our licence conditions covering everything from kennel size to staff ratios. Staff numbers are kept well above the minimum required, since a quiet, unhurried shift is a safer one for the animals in our care.
