The standard cattery pen gives one cat their own indoor sleeping area and a private outdoor run, with no shared airspace between cats from different households. Every pen is cleaned and disinfected thoroughly between stays.
We fit each pen with soft bedding, a scratching post and hiding spots, since cats often settle faster when they have somewhere to retreat to. Litter trays are checked and cleaned daily.
This pen suits the majority of cats we board, from confident cats who enjoy watching the outdoor run to shyer cats who mostly stay in their indoor space. We adjust handling and attention to whatever each cat seems to prefer.
