About Example Outdoor Activities
We are a small team of qualified instructors running kayaking, coasteering and moorland days across South Devon's coast and Dartmoor. Every session is led by an instructor who holds the relevant national qualification for that activity.
The business started with a single kayak and a handful of local bookings, run alongside other instructing work before it grew into something that could stand on its own. We have kept groups small throughout, since it is the only way to run activities like coasteering properly.
All of our instructors hold recognised national qualifications for the activities they lead, kept up to date through regular refresher training and we carry the insurance and safety equipment that outdoor activity providers are expected to hold. Safety briefings happen before every session, however experienced the group.
We know the stretch of coast and the parts of Dartmoor we work on well, including how conditions change through the year and we would rather cancel or reschedule a session than run one we are not confident about. Most of our bookings come from guests who have been recommended to us by someone who has already been out with us.

We cap group sizes so every guest gets proper attention on the water or on the moor.
Conditions come first
We would rather reschedule a session than run one in conditions we are not confident about.
