Ahead of a planned loft conversion, the homeowners in Kingsteignton wanted their heating sorted first, knowing the old system boiler was unlikely to cope with an extra room and radiator being added to the circuit.
We replaced the boiler with a larger system model and upgraded the cylinder to match, giving enough capacity for the new loft room without affecting hot water elsewhere in the house. The pipework was extended ready for the builders to connect the new radiator later.
The upgrade was completed before the loft work began, so there was no disruption once the conversion was underway. The homeowners now have a system with enough headroom for the extra demand.
