The homeowner in this Torquay bungalow wanted to future proof their downstairs shower room, moving to a level access wet room that would be easier to use as they got older. Getting the falls right for drainage was the main challenge.
We worked with the homeowner's builder to set out the correct falls in the floor before any tiling began, then fitted the waste, shower valve and supply pipework to suit the new layout. Every joint was pressure tested before the room was closed up.
The finished wet room drains cleanly with no standing water, even under full shower flow. The homeowner has commented that it has made a genuine difference to their daily routine.
