The couple married in the courtyard of a converted barn just outside Bovey Tracey, with chairs set out under the open beams of the old threshing building behind them. Rain had been forecast all week, but the morning cleared just in time for the ceremony.
We spent the afternoon moving between the courtyard, the surrounding fields and the barn itself, catching the light as it dropped low through the big timber doors. The couple's two dogs were ring bearers, which kept everyone laughing through the readings.
By evening the barn had filled with fairy lights and long trestle tables and the dancing ran on well past midnight. The final gallery ran to several hundred images across the full day.
