FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often by new clients.

Do I need to be fit before I start?

No, we work with people at every stage, including complete beginners. Your first session includes an assessment so your programme starts from where you actually are.

How often should I train?

This depends on your goals and schedule. Many clients train once or twice a week one to one, sometimes alongside a small group session and we can adjust this as you progress.

What is the difference between one to one and small group training?

One to one sessions are fully personalised and entirely focused on you. Small group sessions are capped at four people and still involve close coaching, adapted for each person in the group.

Do I need my own equipment or kit?

Just comfortable training clothes and trainers. Everything else is provided at the studio.

Can I book small group sessions with friends?

Yes, many of our small groups are made up of friends, colleagues or family members who booked in together. We can also place you into an existing group where there is space.

Do you offer nutrition advice as well as training?

Yes, nutrition and lifestyle coaching is available alongside your training programme for clients who want it, focused on practical, manageable changes rather than strict diets.

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

Let us know as early as possible and we will find another time. Plenty of notice helps us offer the slot to someone else.

What our customers say

★★★★★

I'd never set foot in a gym before starting here and I was dreading it. My trainer never made me feel silly for not knowing how anything worked.

Training with two friends kept us all honest ahead of our trek. We'd never have stuck with it on our own.

After my back injury I thought heavy training was off the table for good. A year later I'm lifting more than before, just a lot more sensibly.
