Conditions we treat
We see patients with a wide range of injuries and ongoing conditions, working from an accurate assessment towards a plan that suits your circumstances.
Back and neck
Back and neck pain can come on suddenly after a specific movement or build gradually from posture, work or driving. We assess how the pain behaves and build a treatment plan around what is realistic for your daily life.
Treatment usually combines manual therapy with a home exercise plan, aimed at easing pain and supporting a return to normal movement over time.
Shoulders and arms
Shoulder pain often limits everyday tasks like reaching, dressing or sleeping on one side. We look at how the joint moves and where the restriction or weakness sits before agreeing a plan.
Rehabilitation is staged carefully, particularly after a dislocation or surgery, so strength and control return in a sensible order.
Hips, knees and lower limb
Hip and knee problems range from ongoing joint stiffness to injuries picked up on the pitch or the running track. We assess movement, strength and load tolerance to understand what is driving the symptoms.
Plans are built in stages, whether the goal is walking comfortably again or a graded return to sport.
Sports and activity related injuries
Sports injuries need an accurate early assessment so training or match play can resume at a sensible pace. We look at how the injury happened and what your sport demands of your body.
Where useful we also look at training load and technique, so the same pattern is less likely to cause problems again.
