Choosing an engagement ring can feel daunting, so we start with a private appointment rather than a shop floor conversation. We talk through budget, stone shape and setting style and show a range of options both from stock and as examples of rings we have made before.
For a ring made to order we work from a sketch or a reference image, agreeing the design and stone before anything is made. Most commissions take around six to eight weeks from the final design being signed off, though we can sometimes work faster if there is a date to meet.
Every stone we set is checked and certified before it goes into a ring and we are happy to talk through the differences between diamond cuts and clarity grades without any pressure to choose the most expensive option. Resizing and adjustments after the proposal are included in the price of a commission.
