About Example Holiday Cottages
We are a small, independent agency managing self catering cottages across South Devon. Every property in our collection is visited and approved by our team before it joins the website and checked again between every stay.
Example Holiday Cottages started with a single converted barn near Kingsbridge and has grown slowly since, adding properties only when we are confident we can look after them properly. We would rather manage a smaller, well kept collection than a large one we cannot keep an eye on.
Most of our cottages belong to local owners who trust us to handle bookings, cleaning and maintenance on their behalf. We visit each property regularly, not just at the start of the season, so small problems get picked up before they become big ones.
Our small team knows every cottage on the books personally, which means we can answer questions honestly rather than reading from a script. If a property is not right for you, we would rather say so and point you towards one that is.
