A family in Kingsbridge lost power to half of their house late one evening and called our emergency line, concerned it might be something serious given how suddenly it had happened.
Our electrician traced the fault methodically, isolating circuits one at a time until the cause was found. It turned out to be a faulty washing machine that had developed an internal fault, tripping the circuit it shared with other rooms.
Power was restored within the hour once the appliance was disconnected and we advised the family to have the washing machine looked at by a qualified appliance engineer. They were relieved it was nothing to do with the house wiring itself.
