The homeowners in Ashburton had a garden office built and needed power and lighting run out to it, along with outdoor lighting along the path. The existing consumer unit in the house did not have capacity for the extra circuits.
We upgraded the main consumer unit to create the necessary capacity, then ran a dedicated supply out to the garden office with its own small distribution board inside. Outdoor lighting was added along the path with weatherproof fittings throughout.
The homeowners now have a properly protected supply to the office, separate from the rest of the house, along with lighting that makes the garden usable after dark. Everything was tested and certified before the office was handed over for use.
