Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we get asked most often by new members.
Do I need to be fit before I join?
No. Our coaches work with members at every starting point and will always offer an easier version of a movement where needed. Most new members start with a short induction to get comfortable with the equipment.
Is there a joining fee?
Details of any joining fee are covered when you sign up, along with the membership options available. Speak to a member of the team for current terms.
Can I try a class before committing to a membership?
Yes, new members are welcome to try a class as part of an induction. This gives you a feel for the coaching style before choosing a membership.
What should I bring to my first session?
Comfortable training clothes, trainers and a water bottle are all you need. Towels are available on site if you plan to use the showers.
Do you offer parking?
Yes, there is parking available close to the gym for members attending classes or open gym sessions.
Can I freeze my membership?
Memberships can usually be paused for things like injury or travel. Speak to the team directly and they will talk through the options.
Are classes suitable for complete beginners?
Yes, every class is designed to suit a mix of abilities and instructors will always offer modifications. Nobody is expected to keep pace with more experienced members.
Do you run classes for older adults?
Yes, we have members across a wide age range and coaches are happy to adjust pace or intensity for anyone managing an injury or returning to exercise after time away.
