The moor view room sits on the top floor of the house, under a sloped ceiling that gives it a bit more character than some of our other rooms. It's furnished with a super king bed, a small seating area by the window and an en suite shower room fitted a couple of years ago.
The main draw is the view, which looks out over the rooftops of Ashburton towards the open moor beyond. On a clear morning it's worth getting up a little earlier just to sit with a cup of tea and watch the light change over the hills.
Because of the stairs and the sloped ceiling, this room isn't suitable for anyone with limited mobility and we're upfront about that when guests book. It's proved popular with couples celebrating an anniversary or simply after a bit more space than our standard doubles.
