The single room sits at the back of the house, away from the street and tends to be our quietest room as a result. It's furnished with a three quarter bed, a small desk that works well for anyone travelling for work and an en suite shower room.
It suits solo travellers well, whether that's walkers passing through on the way across the moor or people visiting family nearby for a night or two. The room is smaller than our doubles, but guests who've stayed in it tend to comment on how well the space is used.
Being at the back of the house, it looks out over the garden rather than the street, which most guests seem to prefer for a good night's sleep after a day on the moor.
