This cottage sits on one of the steep, colourful terraces above Brixham harbour, a short walk down to the fish market and the working boats. It has been part of our collection for six years and is consistently one of our best reviewed properties.
The ground floor holds a small kitchen and sitting room, with two bedrooms upstairs sharing a family bathroom. A steep flight of steps leads to the front door, so it is better suited to guests who are comfortable with stairs.
Brixham's working harbour gives the town a different feel to some of the more polished resorts nearby, with fresh fish sold straight off the boats most mornings. Guests often tell us it is their favourite base for a proper seaside break.
