The layout is spread over three floors, with a small kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor and two bedrooms above. There is no garden, but a Juliet balcony off the main bedroom looks over the rooftops towards the castle.
There is no private parking, though a long stay car park sits a short walk away and most guests find they do not need a vehicle once they arrive. Totnes station is close enough to walk to for anyone arriving by train.
